Airfare sales (including September) have begun

$212 for the MKE to ATL .Looks like my ex favorite airline merged, and no longer flies to Atlanta from Milwaukee. Depending on the price of gas by Sept., this MIGHT be the cheaper option...

Man, this is pissing me off that just about every place in the mid-atlantic other than DC is getting near $200 airfare. Yet, fracking Dulles seems to be $50 more than everyplace else.

I never have had to pay more than $160 when I flew to PPUSA.....The cheapest I got was like $134, right after 9-11... With everybody charging for bags/carry ons/etc. I'd be looking at close to $300... Do NOT like...

The 12 hour drive down is actually quite refreshing.....

Scott,

Do you mind me asking how you learned of AirTran's sale? Are you subscribed somewhere, have email alerts, a fare watcher set up, etc.? I'd like to not miss future sales like this.

Thanks!
~Jen

Jen...sorry I really don't remember. I am signed up for so many email alerts that I'm not sure which one let me know. The best seem to be AirFareWatchdog, TravelZoo, Sherman's Travel, and any particular airline (like AirTran) that you frequent.
