I like her too .. she has some really original shit(some!) but a lot of new female semi-popular artist's are copying her "style". So to some of you it may not sound original .. a lot of people think the beach boys and the beatles aren't original .. it's just because pretty much every pop act after that has in some way ripped their riffs ....these guys started all the madness... or am I just mad for think that ...
I watched a band here in corner brook that played all beatles covers but "inverted" all the notes ... as they later told everyone after people shouted at them for playing the songs wrong ..
it was actually really cool because it was all the beatle's "happy" songs turned dark and a bunch of old fuckers were gettin angry ..

That was pretty funny...dammit I should have picked up on that...I am a HUGE Alanis fan. She's an amazing talent and an excellent live performer. Unlike a lot of "bubble gum pop princesses", which she is not, she writes her own music and plays several instruments. I smell an Opeth/Alanis collaboration.

Alanis is actualy pritty good, if you like that sort of stuff. I got Jagged Little Pill for $3.00 and its worth more than that. But yeah, first thing I though when I heard that line was "Opeth"

Not out of lack of listening, in fact, back in the day I loved Jagged Little Pill...when I was like 14 or something. Now I listen to her and think, fuck what an annoying voice, fuck what an annoying song. Fuck what a shitty artist. Etc.
