i voted for avenger. it has blood. and once sent always reminds me of a penis, so i cant take it seriously, even though the art is pretty cool. i know its supposed to be a keyhole, i think (hallway?), but i mean really. great, now i've probably spoiled it for you guys..

I've always liked the art work to Sorrow Throughout The Nine Worlds. The Avenger is a close second. The Crusher is a bit too cheesy for my tastes.

haha i never thought of that, but perhaps it's a refernece to the fertility-cult of frey (is that what he's called in english?), phallic symbols where quite common back in the days figurine found depicting frey often features a massive phallus. but perhaps it's just a coincidence

and yes, the crusher has awful cover art

edit: something rahter odd happened to me an hour or so after i made this post: i've got this book about nortern mythologi that's been standing unread in my bookshelf for some time and i for some reason i felt like taking it out and looking at it. i randomly opened it came across a familiar shape on one of the pages. on it is a picture of a gate of an old norweigan wooden chrurch called "Urnes stave church" situated in Sogn and it is the very same gate that appears on the OSFTGH-cover! it was quite odd feeling indeed finding it like that so the cover is a burning chruch depicted in a somewhat concealed form hehe.
