Are these guys any good, I hear different people talking about them are they even worth getting their stuff???

Depends. They're not a particularly serious band but they're fucking awesome fun live. Really good at talking to fans and stuff too - I was chatting to the guitarist and singer after the gig at Wacken this year.

If you like folky metal thats good fun like Turisas they're a good band.

No. I listened to their album apprehensively "Captain Morgan's Revenge" laughed a bit, then deleted it about half way through.

lol, they are getting big, i know the guys in the band, a couple years ago alestorm was nothing but a thought, suddenly they rocket launched to succes.
It's fun music with a touch of humor, not super serious i presume.

They are just about as good as Dragonforce, but with no over-the-top soloing..
