ambient, trippy-ness; now w/100% more DFHS!

:kickass:

I like it a lot. It seem slike the beginning is cut off, though. I'm about half through right now... right where that clicky buzzing starts before the big distorto bits come it. There's a weird artifact at ~1:44, too, that would be really bothersome to me if I were listening to this in an altered state

And the end is kinda abrupt. but, again, I like it a lot

haha, yeah. i feel ya on all accounts.

i just started writing so, but the beginning is meant to be..

the project file somehow is corrupt, or always results in fatal errors, so there's not a whole lot more I can add; lol.

thanks tho dude. it's my first day w/DFHS, so i'm still getting the hang of it.. or trying to rather.

i love it thus far though!

sounds good. reminds me of music they would use for a discovery channel commercial, not that that's a bad thing. the intro lead clean guitar sounds out of tune at times, but iattribute that to low tuning and stringsbeing slightly bent out of tune.

deftones fan? i get that impression when the heavy part comes in. I like it alot.

Fuck yeah dude, that's awesome!

I love the drums, incredibly realistic sounding.

that's what I was going for.. didn't take too long to program.. BUT

getting the leakage and everything how I wanted took a bit. i should have gotten DFHS wayyy sooner.

was going for a wayyy natural indie vibe here..

Charles... homeslice, this sounds great!

This needs a piano so badly in the beginning... you need to get some vocals on this one, can you do clean vocals?

Sounds great dude...

thanks bro!

i had a buddy over helping me with some more melodies for it and such and he gave a crack at some ideas I had for clean vocals, but it didn't work too well.

i've got some ideas for the vox.... i tried very briefly but wasn't happy... more time is all I need I suppose.

thanks for the feedback!

EDIT: i don't have a VSTi for pianos, i wanted one for the end and in some other parts, what do you recommend?

free is best, but I'll look into some of the commercial stuff as well..

Cool. We need to listen to something like this once in a while to break up the metal monotony. The vibe kinda reminds me of the latest Celtic Frost cd for some reason. I guess I could picture it being on there.

There was a wonderful free piano VST I had ages ago... I completely forgot the name, but it simulated a variety of them and sounded great. I used it for a cover of 'Enemy Within' ages ago and it sounded almost like the album.

I'll see if I can dig it up for ya..
