Still haven't heard all of Far From The Sun yet...for now it falls in the same category as the last two, a handful of good songs that expand their range and a lot of material that fails to register...

Yes, Far From The Sun is very cool...after listening to it more times I have to say that...Amorphis has a unique sound and I enjoy the lyrics.

I like their middle 3 best.. well, not middle now that there's a new one. Tales through Tuonela. I haven't really liked either of the songs I've heard off of FFTS, but I'll check it out fully anyway. Really, I don't mind when bands change style like that (Katatonia, Samael), but I just don't find their newest stuff to be very interesting.

I LOVE it... But the album should have growls in it!!!!

yes, very much i love every song Amorphis has recorded after Priviledge i don't like Am Universum as much as Tuonela, though

hmm i kinda like the clean vocals.. i usually listen to Elegy and TFTTL, so it's nice to hear some singin for change..
in the new album Pasi sounds very weak, though.. he sings better in Am Universum methinks..

I have the new album... but I need someone to physically sit me down and starp me to a cahir where FFTS is the only album on the playlist.... cos I STILL haven't given it more than a cursory inspection so far.
