Hi!
Here's another "the-endless-tone-quest" comparsion. I recorded three of my rigs with different guitars, to see what i like the best.
I just used a basic drum pattern, with two hard panned guitar tracks.
You will find the mono tracks at the end of the short clip.
It's a bit sloppy, but you get the idea :)
I propably end up using a mix of the MF400 and Mf280 fueled by my modded KK.
I think i want to buy an Überschall to complete the amp collection:)

Best regards,
Simon

I like all these tones. The 800kk MF400 slightly off center is my fav, but they all sound pretty good. I think it might be advantageous to track a rough bass for up the center to really judge the tones. I think the recto reborn could really add something if blended in with the Marshall tones and filtered a bit, it has that filthy gain structure thing going on that suits your style.

Thanks for the input! I will record a bass track, soon.
My modded KK through an Ampeg 8x10 is a hell of a bass rig :)
I need to get a D112....
I tried to find combinations.
KK with MF280+MF400 works and of course the KK with the Mesa. Maybe i keep it simple and go for just two tracks of the kk/MF280/57 dead center. Seems to be the most focused sound.
Cheers,
Simon
