hey yall,

im a happy user of amplitube but theres 1 thing i cant get around.

i use my line 6 toneport as my interface for amplitube. i plug in my guitar as normal and set up the settings in amplitube but i find all my clean tones are distorted far too much in amplitibe.

my master output is always peaking so i turned it down and it floats around within the green levels which is fine but the input level seems to do pretty much nothing.

when my input is turned all the way up its like a small distortion pedal in front of the amp, effects etc. if i turn it down it still stays slightly distorted but not as bad but its still peaking to red on the VU (i think thats what its called) with the input all the way down and in my macs system pref's there is no option to turn down the ux's input volume.

anyone any ideas?

im running it in standalone, i have not tried to run it as an vst...well...AU in my case yet. so the problem is in standalone. and nope! there is no menu for the toneport. the only options i have for my toneport are 1: within the application selecting the in and out channels and 2: system prefs tweaking the midi settings. nothing to do with hotness of input gain or anything :(
