I want an amp that sounds really good and isnt a huge stack. I need something with good tone thats not to big.:puke:
 
Get a half stack if you don't want the size.

If you want the tone, you're going to have to find that in the amp yourself. If you can't find what you want in the amp, try another one.
 
I have a Vox combo amp I got off my friend for $100, think it goes for about $240. Has a wide range of settings (blues, funk, clean, 70's rock, 80's rock, fuckin' metal), decent distortion, and whatnot. Also has a bunch of onboard effects (autowah, phaser, rotary, chorus, flanger, reverb, and delay). All useless (except maybe reverb) but fun to futz with. 30 watts, looks good. I think it actually has a small tube in it or something, so it's not entirely solid state. This is what my friend told me. So, if you're looking for a small practice amp, this thing is pretty damn decent.
