Star of Ash features Heidi Tveitan and husband Vegard Tveitan... better known as Ihriel and Ihsahn...

Appearances by Christofer Rygg, production by Rygg and Tore Ylwizaker (human by birth, dyslexic by heritage, I bet he is)...

... described as "Avant-rock/neo-classical/gothic"...

Is it me or did the hype for this just completely not happen? I'd have thought there'd be a real awareness of this thing, but I'd never heard of it before I found it sitting in my mailbox.

Ah well. Here's hoping it doesn't suck.

is it a demo or a promo? because I can't find any info about this project on the net...and I think that, if they have a contract, their label would at least write something about them on their webpage...

It's released by Jester Records, and The End apparently will be releasing it in North America in January...

Interesting that Jester Records doesn't say anything about it, but The End does...
