Yeah, like "don't beat my head with that "metal" stick, ow, ow, hurts!" The funny thing is that they still care about such fleeting things as "recognition" and somehow they are sure that it will come if they'd be compared with "cool" bands and when the interviews won't mention the "uncool" bands (even Katatonia) or the word "metal", or even worse, "DOOM!" Heh. Fuck recognition.

so they would rather be compared with Radiohead than with Katatonia... that makes sense to me. i was a bit worried for the reporter's health when he started making qquestions about the "older" Anathema., Vincent was almost hitting him there.

Yeah, like "Shhhh!!!! Don't mention "metal" - so nobody figures out we were a metal band once - cause if they do, we won't get the Radiohead gig!"

On a different note, Vinny seems to have a philosophical revelation period, judging from the recent interviews! Right about time!
