Melissa Records sign Ancient Creation and 3 Headed Monster
Independent record label Melissa Records, based in The Netherlands and solely dedicated to traditional forms of metal from the USA, are proud to announce the signing of two promising acts, Ancient Creation and 3 Headed Monster.
Ancient Creation, hailing from the heart of Missouri, are a five-piece powermetalband with a distinctly technical edge. With a few demos under their belt, the band focuses on songs with strong melodies driven by classic guitar harmonies and vocals with a bite. The first official full-length will contain a dozen tracks that will appeal to fans of intricate compositions and fiery guitar work, stylistically leaning toward Texas metal from the mid-eighties.
Melissa Records have also added New England's 3 Headed Monster to their roster of fine US underground acts. The four former high school buddies have been kicking ass for a number of years already with their all-instrumental blend of genres, varying from power and thrash to prog and old-fashioned heavy metal. While conceptually 3 Headed Monster keep their tongues firmly in cheek with monster movie and pro-wrestling themes, they're dead serious about their metal.
Both the Ancient Creation and 3 Headed Monster discs are set for an Autumn 2007 release on Melissa Records, who will kick off their releasing schedule with Beyond Fallen (thrash/powermetal) and Seventh Calling (powermetal) this Spring.
