I love how the new In Flames cd sounds on the production by Anders. I wish the last 2 cds where produced by Anders in his own studio. He gives the new cd a live raw sound because You hear everything.
Anders Fridén is both an awesome producer.

I do think he's a good producer yes. In some ways i wish he'd let In Flames die with dignity after this album (and 12 amazing years of stunningly beautful, aggresive and awesome music might i add) and just turn to producing. Instead i get the feeling that In Flames will just keep going until they don't sell anymore, or on the otherhand just keep going and become a total laughing stock (Metallica anyone?). If they'd ended it all after "Soundtrack" then we'd have all felt slight cheated and indeed metal and moreover music as a whole probably would have been. But if they end it now and just take seperate paths, it wouldn't be so bad, perhaps even very good.

in flames just purchased the recording studio in gotenburg that soilwork and they and all those bands used to record at. I forgot the name of it but I am sure they will turn to producing. I also think they have alot of musical life left in them and they will be around for a bit longer, especialy with all the money they are soaking in now adays.

Hey he doesn't suck that much.. And I really like his scream in their older albums ;/. I wonder if he lost the ability to scream like that or he just thinks his crappier scream is better for the new stuff they make ;/.The Bringer said:

Anders is going to be "even" better at vocals. He really rocks about vocals. He's also an awesome producer, too. But I think he sold his studio or stopped producing albums... he totally stopped producing albums.
And yes he produced some Dimension Zero's albums, Opeth's My Arms, Your Hearse, A Canorous Quintet albums and most of In Flames' albums. He's both an awesome producer and a vocalist and a guitar player and a musician and a lyricist and a human being.
