Andrew "Mac" McDermott is ill...

Ill enough to not be able to perform with his band Powerworld on tour, and then still ill enough to decide to get out of the band. New Powerworld singer is Michael Bormann.

Anyone has more infos about Mac? I reall miss him in Threshold and thought that the Powerworld album he sang on (Human Parasite) was very good too. Hopefully, he'll get his health back and will find a new band cause his voice is great.

I think he left Threshold over touring issues. I think I recall talk of him having a spouse or significant other that kind of put their foot down about him going out on the road. Perhaps that's still part of the issue .. and hopefully he's not seriously ill.
