Andy and friends, help me get my sound back...

i have an jmp-1 since 6 or 7 years now.
but i can't say that it started huming over the years.
if you haven't already check/replace cables first. but i would definitly bring you
stuff in for service.

i just had my jcm 2550 into service 2 times now for the tubes, but the jmp-1 yet.
but i will have it checked this year though.

Re-wireing and re-soldering my JCM800 di'd help some...
But I guess my JMP-1 is periodically faulty...
I was recording the other day and thinkin' "holy shit, my sound is just sooo crap right now....tried three pair of new tubes...nothing..

Then I tried my friends JMP-1...same settings, very very different sound...i'm recording with that one right now....
