AngelSeed was a project born from the ashes of the cult, trash metal band Drinking Skull (Croatia, Zagreb) combining the basics of trash metal and musical influences of different sub-styles, mostly symphonic and power rock. Project formed by Damir Marijan Maras, Jurica Baljak and Sinisa Antunovic Medo, took more serious form when Ivana Anic Lara (singer) decided to join the project 2007.
It was very obvious from the start, the songs that were created will require more complex music arrangements, so the first lineup of the band asked for reinforcements... Musicians and friends that helped us form the songs as we know them today were Tomislav Oliver (keyboards) and Luka Putica (bass).
Sadly the lineup did not last for a long time, as they had to leave due to their own projects and commitments. With the arrival of the last two members; Jurica Bazant (keyboards) & Juraj Birin (guitar) project becomes a band, now consisting of six very talented musicians; from academically educated musicians, to musicians with many years of experience performing and recording: Damir Marijan Maras (rhythm-guitar), Sinisa Antunovic-Medo (bass), Jurica Baljak (drums), Juraj Birin (solo guitar), Jurica Bazant (keyboards) and Ivana Anic-Lara (vocals). Decision was made and the name for the band was chosen AngelSeed.
