Angra new album

Well the Brazilian boys are not going to break any molds or change the way power metal is done, but surely they came with a very fast and heavy album and way better than TOS in my opinion.

Some changes here and there gave the album some magic beyond the vaerage power metal stuff and the band definitively sounds tight and with punch.

Lately I'm amazed by some bands way to deliver energy in their albums surely Firewind, Angra, Tyr and Wuthering Heights are refueling for 2006 oil crisis or not

I'm becoming afraid on how I'm going to make finally the decision on the my top ten by December, a great year indeed my sisters and brothers

Agreed. I'm on my second listen right now. While they're not breaking any molds it is at least slightly out of their own mold, and expanding a bit. I like it a lot, so far. I did enjoy TOS too though.

No kidding! This has been a great year for metal. Hopefully that doesn't mean next year will be a letdown. At least we have Symphony X to look forward to in '07. I am, anyway, even though it keeps getting pushed back for release.

I have 9 tracks in the one I downloaded, but this is a promo. Maybe the normal or ltd edition will carry ten ot may be a hidden track. We'll see when the final product hits the market.

As I mentioned above no it doesn't.

I cannot wait for this album. Their last 2 albums were masterpieces, IMO.

As I mentioned in other threads, their albums are always worthy purcheses, although the last 2 where relatively letdowns, I cannot wait, the cover looks great too.

That is great news. I didn't care too much for TOS, but Rebirth is close to a masterpiece. Collectively, I don't think I could name ten bands more talented as well. Every member of Angra (vocalist included) is a master at their craft.
