Very technical / progressive thrash metal in the tradition of Toxik and Watch Tower we present you this time with ANNIHILATIONMANCERs current album "The Involution Philosophy. Originally it was already released independently last year in a very small scale.
Already established in 1994 in the Italian Napoli, the two demos "Unpunished Massacre Messiah" (1999) and a simple "Promo 2009" titled 3 track aperitif were released to the CD racks of the underground Thrashers. We also discovered the musical finesse of the most challenging, but equally brutal music of the trio, so we summarily decided to make the first "real" album available professionally. Different influences can be heard on these seven songs plus intro: One is of course the already mentioned elements of Watch Tower and Toxik, the barking vocals is reminiscent of Megadeth's Dave Mustaine, the guitar technique awakens again so many associations with Annihilator god Jeff Waters. And even insinuating acoustic tunes are used in the instrumental song Reflected In Her Life", which is a further indication that in this genre also variety does not always mean something bad!
ANNIHILATIONMANCER take the balancing act between technical finesse, high standards and hard tunes - and they do it on The Involution Philosophy" extremely credible!!
