Hello all, I'm new to the forum. Long time metal fan - in fact this year celebrates my 25th of being a metal fan! Like many I got into it through the likes of Metallica, who are still my favourite band to date (lived my dream earlier this year after making the pilgrimage from London to San Francisco for the fan-club S&M² show in September!) and my first ever live live experience was Donington Monsters of Rock in 1994: Aerosmith headlined, with Biohazard, Pantera, Sepultura, amongst others on the bill. My first ever metal gig was Machine Head (with Meshuggah and Mary Beats Jane supporting) at the Brixton Academy in 1995 - so I'm very excited to be seeing them back there again next year: same band (mostly) at the same venue on the same tour!
My interests and tastes are wide and varied: rock, metal, non-rock and non-metal, death metal, black metal, thrash, punk, and most in between - except rap, drum'n'bass/garage and pretty much anything "urban"
I get to as many gigs as possible, and love to hang after shows in the hope of meeting a band/artist, and just chatting with other fans.
