Definitely a killer album, although I'm not sure if I like it as much as "Character" - they really outdid themselves with that one! I've been listening to it a lot. I'll be picking up the CD the day it comes out!

I've known that this has leaked for a while, I have heard the single and the song that they played live ( I was at the show that was on youtube ), yet i still don't know if I want to hear the album before it's released. At the same time, I've heard mixed reviews, so I'm a bit worried that I'll buy it all excited and be dissapointed.

Can't stand characters guitar tone, and general production quality. Fiction, production wise, sounds much better, as does the guitar tone. I think the songs are better on character though. Damage done seemed to get everything right. Early days yet, only given it one listen.

P.s that damn " click " kick drum is annoying me to hell

Great album. I think I probably like it better than Character. But as to be expected, it's different from any other album really. I find it hard to compare DT albums, personally.
Songwriting isn't quite as intricate as some of the tracks on Character, but the overall phrasing is more pleasing to my ears.
Tone in general is a lot better, but the bass drum is annoying. The tone isn't bad, but the click is way too prevalent and the kick drum in general cuts into the ENTIRE mix and kind of drowns it out for the split second the kick is sustaining.
But with all that having been said, it's still a great release, I think.

That's Tue Madsen's style. The kick is always much louder and more in-your-face than anything else.

I think the mix is perfect for the album. The songs are also killer. havent had much time to listen to it but i think it might even be better then character IMO.

My main gripe with the new songs so far has been that they don't seem to have progressed as much as they normally would between albums. What can be expected on that front after listennig to the whole album?

i don't like the guitar tone, but the drums and bass sound pretty good. I haven't listened to it enough to comment on the songs.

i have hope for it though, because alot of you say it's better than character(which is a hard album to beat).
