Anyone know what the difference is between the original Death Magnetic release and the stuff available on Guitar Hero III? I've heard there's a difference, but I got the PS2 version, so I can't download and find out

yes, the album is so tightly compressed, the GH III isn't so compressed thus, making it sound amazing.

they tried to make the album sound as loud as possible, increased the dB of the tracks and compressing it ALOT....so to answer your question, both lol. Once it was uncompressed and changed it a bit to make it sound GOOD and not just make it loud like it was made, you got the GH tracks and they sound great.
 
There is no "better" there is simply the right thing for the right sotuation...

In my most humble opinion: you probably don't like wine because you never experienced it with the right person, (that can guide you to it) and /or had the right wine...

We can agree on Single Malt though, which is excellent :D
 
I believe you have a point. I went out to greek dinner one night, and the merlot we had was actually really good with the lamb (even though the meal cost almost $100 each). But every other time wine has been yuck to me.

We should all raise a glass of single malt right now.... at least 12 year. I prefer my scotch like me women, at least 12 years old
 
...with all seriousness: there is no "trick" with wine:
I think if one really wants to get into wine, you should start by sampling different kinds and see what you like best...
soon you'll recognize that you are drawn into different kinds of wine: more 'earthy' or full bodied' or 'fruity' - and just go from there to get the ones you like the most...
I don;t believe in "reading reviews" and following like sheep after what the critics say...
there are many wine varieties that critics gave 9.5 points to, and I personaly think they barely scratch the 8...
At the same time, there are many bottles that get 6-7 and I think they are a 9...
So you need to try as many as you can and recognise the traits that attract you to that specific flavor... and go from there...
