The littlelabs web site provides the following information about the Redeye's output as a DI:

"Mic level out XLR, this is the balanced transformer isolated output of the passive DI. The output level here is approximately 18 db less than what is plugged in the instrument in."

How do you make up for that lost 18dB when you reamp?

Well with my red eye used as a passive di, usually I boost the gain on the mic input of the digi002 (where I plug the red eye in), so I have a good signal to reamp cause I noticed when reamping, the level that comes from digi002 is not that hot to feed the amp (5150) I mean it's quieter just a few than the signal that comes direct from guitar, so boosting a little bit the track I got the job well done.
