Another tube question..

I am looking into replacing my V5 (phase inverter) with a Mullard CV4024 in my Rivera K-Tre. Does anyone know how this would affect the overall gain of the amp since the gain value of the Mullard is at 60 (12AX7 are 100)? My goal is to settle the gain down a bit and I understand this tube is great in the Fenders and Marshalls in the reverb driver and PI slots. My current tube setup is 4 SED =c= El-34's, an RFT in V1 and Tung-sol reissues in V2-V4 and a Sovtek 12AX7LPS in V5.

I know this idea is crazy, but have you considered 6l6 tubes (with adapters to make that work of course)?

I know the question seemed to answer itself but wanted to find out how much gain would have been lost by replaceing that tube and wanted to see if anyone has done this before I spent money on the tube. I found out for myself and it works great.
