Anthrax NEws???

This is probably the best thing for Anthrax right now. Any well known singer would have detracters from fans. Bringing in a new guy gives them a clean slate. No baggage from Joey fans, Bush fans, or whatever. Hopefully this'll work out for them.

I still think they should've went with someone who sounded like John AND Joey sort of combined. Kind of like how Russell Allen (From Symphony X) can be both gruff sounding and clean. A dude like that. Either that or a dude who sounded completely unique; a guy who would force them to push THEIR boundaries as writers and musicians instead of allow them to fall into their comfort zone.

But whatevs.

Funny that his name is Dan, though.
 
about this first???? If not, why people are NOT asking for their money back is beyond me. It's ridiculous how clueless Anthrax is when it comes to enlightening their fans....which is a shrinking demographic if I ever saw one.

Yeah, but like MikeyBong wrote a lot of TRÜE fans would act like dicks if they hire anyone remotely famous.

Let´s see what nu-Dan can do and if the band is willing to reinvent themselves.

how can anyone believe this, when the announcement is basically saying their new singer is some guy named Dan, formerly of a band you can't really find online?

I think Anthrax is cursed with the name Dan. That might be the 3rd Dan in the group:lol: Anyway, um someone sounding like Joey and John may not be too unique. It's like journey with that new singer they have that sounds clone to steve Perry it's Steve Perry but with a perm.

I think Anthrax should get a totally different singer like maiden did with Blaze.
It's a gamble but who knows they might get a real good singer...

suggestion for a singer..I know I've mentioned it before...Zack Stevens...

Dude Zack Stevens is doing very well with Circle ll Circle got to see them last year at Prog Power USA and they smoked, anyway in 2009 Stevens will join Savatage again trust me
