Anthrax Tour with Joey on Vocals

First dates were just announced. Tickets on sale for Chicago. I am a huge old school Anthrax fan and I can't even wait to see this tour. This to me is almost as sweet as when Maiden announced Bruce was back on vocals and they announced that Ed Hunter tour. I know John Bush is a great vocalist but the direction Anthrax went after the Persistence of Time album wasn't one I was interested in.

None the less what do you all think of this. Are you excited?

not really, to be honest... I love 'Thrax with John. Don't get me wrong, the era with Joey was great and classic... but I loved the attitude when John joined. Right up my alley... too bad...
However, that does not mean I won't see it....

I've got the same attitude as Keyzer. Joey is without a doubt the superior vocalist but I really love them with John. I wonder what he's got to say about all this. He's probably ok but if it were me I would feel very annoyed and hurt that they wanted to bring the ex-vocalist back for a few dates. Just my opinion tho.

Actually I think Keyzer thinks the opposite of you...

none the less I am sure John understand. Im sure he is not extremely happy about it but he also knows that the old school fans will dig it. Shit I bet he will even dig it, he was a fan of Anthrax back in the day before he was their singer. Its going to definetely please alot of the old school Anthrax fans and gain exposure for the band

To be honest I think John is a superior vocalist to Joey, But i still enjoy the Joey era a lot more than the nu anthrax stuff with john
