So my wife and I were playing Triv. Pur. the other night with some friends. The missus and I were on opposite teams. Anyway, she starts reading the question for us and gets this real pissed off look on her face, and I'm thinking, "It must be a really easy question". It turns out to be along the lines of "What heavy metal band was put under pressure to change its name during a disease scare of 2001?"
One of my buddies that I took to the Thrax concert was one of my partners, he and I were the only people other than my wife who could have gotten that right. That question lead us on our quest for victory. We ended up winning when, the other teams thinking they could stump a bunch of meatheads with a question from "the written word" category, pull out a card asking a question about Jimmy Buffett. We got that one right to end the game. Quite possibly the greatest round of Trivial Pursuit I have ever played.
Now only if they would come up with a Seinfeld Triv. Pur. hehe
