Right now there are no plans for a Volume 8 re-release. The rights to it were owned by Ignition Records, which subsequently went bankrupt and out of business, so Thrax can't do anything with it at this point in time.
And Thrax is anything but dead...they've only gotten better with John Bush...he's one of the best vocalists in metal currently. Unfortunately, they've lost their star status after a couple of bad or unlucky label decisions that essentially kept the public from hearing some of the best metal put out in the 90's. Hopefully they'll get some more support from the new label, and 2003 will see them come for us all
