Anthrax without a singer and tour cancelled?

Just read on blabbermouth that Anthrax tour is cancelled and Dan Nelson have been fired from the band. I hope this is not true cause I was really waiting for seeing them live this saturday in Sonisphere FIN...

They also cancelled Oslo show, making it 4 shows cancelled.

Alright, I checked the link again and they have changed it. When I posted it, it said that Anthrax'a Euro tour manager was contacted and he/she told that tour is cancelled and Nelson is kicked from the band. Now they have replaced that part of the news with a update that says Anthrax is making offical statement later today.

Here's the original part that blabbermouth had that I was reffering to. Its now taken off the post...

"Tomorrow night's (Wednesday, July 22) ANTHRAX headlining show in Oslo, Norway, has officially been cancelled. Concert promoter Ottar Stangeland has told the blog of "Pyro", a weekly rock and metal program which airs on Norway's national radio station NRK P3, that the gig, which was supposed to be held at Gamlebyen Skate Forening, a skate bowl in the old part of Oslo, was called off. "I spoke to ANTHRAX's European booking agent, Dan DeVita at TKO [The Kirby Organization], and he confirmed that the tour is canceled. There appears to internal strife within the group, and [singer] Dan Nelson is apparently out of the band," Stangeland is quoted as saying.

ANTHRAX has yet to announce the cancelation of the Oslo show. Furthermore, there has been no official word from the band to corroborate Stangeland's suggestion that the group has split with Nelson.

BLABBERMOUTH.NET's request for a comment from ANTHRAX's manager, Izvor Zivkovic of Split Media, has thus far gone unanswered."

As announced last week, thrash legends ANTHRAX regretfully cancelled the first three dates on the second leg of their European tour due to new vocalist Dan Nelson's unexpected illness. An additional seven European dates are also cancelled, those scheduled from July 22 to July 30. Anthrax is thrilled to announce that they will play the August 1 Sonisphere festival in Knebworth, England, with their good friend John Bush joining them for a very special one off performance.

The members of Anthrax have confirmed the departure of vocalist Dan Nelson. In light of this development, Anthrax's slot on the U.S. Slipknot dates set for August and September, has also been cancelled. Anthrax is already actively considering lead singer candidates

My whole world has just imploded. That album has already been done, mixed and mastered, its coming out in October apparently.

I dont know what the whole problem was with Belladonna, hes the one who should be singing anthrax. Nelson was looking god though. And yes Dave some of us still care about Anthrax.
