Antiquus released their second album, Eleutheria, in November this year. Its a good traditional/power metal band with heavy Iron Maiden influences, and they are from Canada. I recommend it.

I gave it only a not-so-close listen so far.
It's either a really boring album or it is a sophisticated album needing attention. I'll need to really listen to it to figure out which it is.

My favorite release of 2006.
Not so heavy Maiden influences I think, they have their own, epic sound (more similar to Jag Panzer or Omen).
"I Am Alive" is easily the best song of the year.
