Any Omnium Gatherum fans?

For whatever reason I could imagine a lot of Katatonia fans could like this band a lot if you don't already listen to them. I don't read much praise about them on here (UM) or anywhere else really, but perhaps I haven't dug deep enough; who knows? I haven't heard the new album except for the song on their myspace, which I wasn't overly-impressed with. But I think Years In Waste and Spirits and August Light are incredible albums. Anyone else in agreeance(sp)?

I have both their albums..their oldest songs are the best...Can't really say that I'm going to buy their next one, but you never know

Yeah, good band, I wasn't too crazy about their 2nd album, but the first is excellent.

I downloaded their new one and the first impression is pretty good, might buy it. Good thing they got a new singer.

"Spirits and the August Light" is excellent; the one after it was a real letdown. I haven't heard the new one yet but it seems promising based on the silly studio vid they had floating around for a while.

Well, as I said, they have a new singer now.

And the music is really excellent, definitely worth 'tolerating' the bad vocals for.

Well, because OG's music is worth it i.m.o., good music is good music. I mainly mean the first album, it contains several excellent songs with excellent melodies.

I just watched their new video. Are they serious??? Do they lack all knowledge of what a good vocalist is? This guy is worse than the last guy if that's even possible. wtf?!?
