Any Pro-Pain Fans here?

What I've heard I've liked but I haven't done any serious searching into them.

They do have one of the best band names in recent history though.

I've seen them live twice and they crushed. I've only heard one of their albums and it was pretty damn good except for a couple of songs that they just had to mix with rap. Pro Pain and rap just don't mix IMO.

pound for pound was the 1st song i heard from these guys.i thought it was pretty good.i dont mind some of there stuff.

Funny thing is Pro-Pain did that on their very first album in 91-92-93. It actually worked at the time and it was before the time of rap-metal got real big.

I did a radio show back then in College called The Powersurge and I got to meet them and see their first 5 or 6 shows in Cleveland--with bands like Testament and also on their own. They are great live. Just blistering music and not much B.S.

Foul taste of freedom was awesome, then the vocals actually went in heavy growl borderline death metal mode.

Jono - get "Beast On My Back" (or d/load it). Great stuff. The vocals are rougher than Pro-Pain but the music is very technical.

I saw them with Testament, Death Angel and Nuclear Assault this year. They rocked, as I expected. However, they didn't play Foul Taste, Love To HAte, Don't kill yourself to live and I remain. Kicka ass show, though. There's just the three of them on they stage and they make so much sweet noise!

No foul taste???? That's horrible. That should always be one they play!

Big fan of Pro-Pain. Seen them all over the place. Only 3 of them on stage in Europe in April because Klinger was home sick.
Gasolinedream - you are from Cleveland, you probably know of Klinger and former drummer Eric Matthews' previous band, the Spudmonsters (Cleveland legends). I'm sure they will be heading your way at end of summer (Flying Machine in Loraine, OH probably). New Pro-Pain album out Aug 26th - all covers. Here is how it will go.
1.) Never Again (Discharge)
2.) Circle Of The Tyrants (Warrior)
3.) The Crowd (Operation Ivy)
4.) Refuse/ Resist (Sepultura)
5.) Iron Fist (Motorhead)
6.) 100% (Spudmonsters)
7.) Terpentin (Bohse Onkelz)
8.) Nothing (Negative Approach)
9.) Weeds (Life Of Agony)
10.) Just Sit There (Crumbsuckers)
11.) Damaged II (Black Flag)
12.) Your Mistake (Agnostic Front)
13.) Knife Edge (GBH)
14.) South Of Heaven (Slayer)

I sure do remember the Spudmonsters. I didn't realize the new album was all covers. Thanx for the info.
