I'll be interviewing Andreas for the ProgPower program this coming Monday. If anyone has a specific question for him regarding the band, fire away!

I do have a question;

"After all the brilliant reviews of the last two albums, a lot of people were looking forward for the next Seventh Wonder-album. Expectations may have grown, especially after the release of 'Mercy Falls'. Did the band themselves feel any pressure making the album, and if so, how did you try to cope with that?"

After all the time I've waited to see them I'll at least try to come up with one half-decent Q;

-what new things that we haven't heard from SW before can we expect from the new album?

What the heck, one more;
-WHEN will the new album be done?

I'd always assumed that "Seventh Wonder" referred to the Seven Wonders of the Ancient (or Modern?) World.....errm, specifically, the last one of the bunch. :)
--But I'm certainly curious to know the definitive answer.

Saw this on their website:

Q: What is the meaning behind the band name ‘Seventh Wonder’?

There is none! The band name Seventh Wonder was a suggestion from Andreas Blomqvist after the band had found out that the band name Neverland was already taken. It was one suggestion among a few others and it was the one that the rest of the band liked the most –so it was adopted as the new band name.

Also found the answer there to my question:

Q: What are the band member’s jobs and/or previous jobs?

Tommy is a fire fighter and also deals with traffic accidents and similar. Kyrt is in IT support and repairs hardware such as cash machines and laptops. Andreas works with pacemaker research including algorithm development and project managing. Johan works with musical equipment including setting them up and delivering them to events. Johnny works in a warehouse and handles the incoming goods, ordering and logistics.

And now I'm two questions short... :Smug:

Awww...sorry Milton. You'll think of something even better :grin:

How about...

Have any members of the band ever been to the States before? What are your expectations for playing PPUSA?

Will the new album also be a concept album or individual songs?

You played quite a few festivals last summer including PP Europe and Sweden Rock. How was that experience; any interesting stories to tell?

:lol: :lol: No worries, Connie, I was just playing around. :)

Thanks for the suggestions, though!!

Good stuff!

I am also interested to her if they ever play old stuff off of the Become album, or covers.

And also (since they seem to have been playing live a lot more now) if there are any fan favourites or setlist comments in general.
