Anybody got ENGL V30 impulses?

Wow what impulse file was that?!

Quad track
100% pan was the one with higher presence.
80% was the other one.

Gotta fix the clipping tomorrow
Maybe because it was too loud

Edit: Sorry for the misunderstanding, I understand that you thought it was your impulses, sorry :) didnt see the previus posts.

I tested the impulses and did this:

I know its clipping sometimes but I dont have the energy to go back and fix it right now, the oh´s might be a little low aswell.
Tell me what you think!
The amp... is Wagner Sharp btw ;)

/Jonas

Hey Jonas, man that sounds killer! Great job!

What was your setup (guitar, pups, pre, etc)?

Thanx man!
Guitar was a Ibanez Rg350 with emg pickups
Ampsim was Wagner Sharp
DI´s straight recorded thru my.... Toneport

Im a poor student

Ahhhh, don't feel bad, I'm DI'ing through a POD, so we're in the same boat. Were your Wagner settings just straight up? The reason I ask is because I can't get anywhere near that tone.

I think I had:
Drive 1 o´clock
Bass 8 o´clock
Middle 2 o´clock

The other settings were at 12.

Thats what I remember in any case :)

what exact curve eq file did you use? Also, what is the eng v40 impulse? What post processing did you do and did you use a tubescreamer?

hehe. I just invented the v40 speaker! lol.
for curve eq I used the first song of the tempo of the damned album. which is actually my favorite in terms of production.
post processing was low/higpass and andy's c4 settings. a tubescreamer (sort of) was used for all 4 tracks (gain 1, high and low about 13:00 and level at full). tracks were 100,80,80,100 both 80 were made with engl e530 and both 100 with 6505.
drums with dfh with snare+bass-drum samples from andy. bass was made with a pocket pod preset.

You could always just reamp a sinesweep through the power amp and record the output from the mic...
Then share the recorded sweep and we can do the rest :)
