Well, Carcass, In Flames, Arch Enemy etc. that amp is really all over that genre. You'll find it in countless productions by Andy, Colin, James, Jason Suecof, Tue Madsen and of course Fredrik Nordstrom.

Anyone know if a 5150 ever made it on a Decapitated album? Im pretty sure the last was a Randall, but I'm wondering about the previous.
I know Vog has been an amp slut moving from 5150 to XXX and some Randalls.
Of course he uses whatever he can get his hands on while on tour but I have heard he owned and used some Peavey's in the past.

Nihility was Line 6 Flextone II HD, Negation I'm not entirely sure about, Organic Hallucinosis was Randall Warhead and Triple Rectifier.

I asked him when they came through last year - Vogg told me it was a 2ch Triple Recto and a Randall Warhead.
I would LOVE to hear what amp(s) were on Negation, that tone is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO crunchy, an atypical description for a death metal tone

I know Vogg doesn't even own an amp head, he changes shit up frequently and is always borrowing stuff... When I saw them on their Canadian tour he was using Rob from Neuraxis' 5150 and sounded sick. That dude's tone is in his hands for sure, he sounds badass through anything.

In my soundclick page I have 3 samples recorded with the preamp line output from a 5150 and with impulses added to the recorded tracks, It's a really god trick to recording at home and obtain a really good 5150 tone.
