anybody in the US freaked the fuck out right now?

no obviously i'm not looking at any state with 0 reporting.

but i do think that florida virginia and ohio matter a lot. moreso the former two

Remember there are 30,000 votes for Johnson/Paul in Florida. Those votes would probably have tipped it in favour of Romney.

I am not scared, regardless who wins we are still fucked. The American people are too stupid to realize Obama and Romney are the same person.

Florida is dropping the ball as they always do every election cycle, we won't have their votes until tomorrow.

To be brutally honest, I think that the main concern should actually be the environmental policy. I realize that oil is extremely important to the economy of the USA, but I'd be very hesitant to vote for a candidate who wanted to expand and promote the use of oil.

This is from not just an environmental point of view but also a social (or should I say societal) one. Oil correlates rather strongly with money - therefore with power. And you know what they say about power....

Anyways, while the economy should be a priority, there's one thing, that, in my opinion, it cannot come at the expense of. And that is the gradual move away from oil's current role

yeah i'm watching the washington post and the ny times though - they're not calling it yet. though i think its clear he's going to win. Sigh of relief

My main concern with Romney is the international relations... And environmental policy.
Apart of that, some oriental countries already hates Obama, since before his first election gave people hope of ending wars.
However, as said, Obama and Romney are the same person.
I really hope that US stops these crappy war games. Nowadays the use of the force is unacceptable and totally against all human rights.
Innocent people do not deserve to be punished for someonelse's acts (terrorism). There are a lot of different penalties accepted by the international rights...
Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya (not officially).
C'mon, WHY THE HELL US THINKS THAT ITS POSSIBLE TO INTRODUCE DEMOCRACY WHERE IT NEVER EXISTED BEFORE?
It's like Iran entering US dominion with FORCE saying that democracy is wrong and retrograde. (Actually it is, since Aristotle conceptualized it).
Saying that a secular system is the right one, that they will free US people from democracy, using the same arguments US uses to enter other countries sovereignty.

Let's STOP THIS SHIT.
Freedom is ACQUIRED not FORCED.
Democracy is a process. History showed that forced democracy tends to introduce FAKE democracy.
This is wrong...

I'm glad Obama won, at least. He is the most social president US had.
Amazing how US evolved from the Socialism-hater from the cold war to a Social-Capitalist country.

This. Saying they are the same person is just a way to avoid taking a stance and receiving criticism for stating your actual views. State some policy preferences and it'll be pretty easy to point you to the candidate who'd best represent you.

They are the same person on the sense of making some equal decisions. But their ideology is totally different.
