Anyone compared Event TR8 with TR8 XL and ASP 6/8?

hello. i have owned the tr5s then the tr8s and now the asp8s. i would say i am pretty familiar with the event sound. anyway imo the tr8s were good but the asp8s are way better. same sound but extended in both the highs and lows. also alot more open, better stereo image and get alot louder without losing anything. in my opinion events sound pretty smooth and they are easy to listen to all day long(or all night for that matter). the asp8s are well worth spending the extra cash. i also listened to bm5as(6.7 inch drivers version), jbl 8 inch active linear model, the older mackie hr8 or whatever they are called, krk v8s and yamaha hs80s. i wish i couldve heard the adam a7s. anyway my top 3 were the asp8s, hs80s and the jbls. in that order. i dont regret getting the asp8s at all. but i want to add to them at some point with another set or two of different sounding monitors. good luck.
