New Monitor Time - Event ASP 8?

Hey guys, I was just presented with a killer deal(more than 50% off.) on a pair of ASP 8s... anyone have any experience with them?

Got a good deal on KRK VXT-8's as well, about the same 50% offish deal. I'm leaning towards the Events for no good reason at all.

i bought a set of events at g.c. for 850 out the door so if you can get them for 1/2 that you are getting a steal id say.

$277 each for the Events, brand new - not used.

They are $650ish each most places I have seen.

Had mine for over a year and love 'em. Oz has them too...

Full range, easy on the ears and mixes translate well.

hey im trying to get the EVENT ALP5 from a guy.. like new.. for 250 bucks here (pair).. should i buy them? instead of behringer shit..

I got a pair of Event ASP6 and they are great. I could definitely use a little more bottom end though.

The ASP8s are great speakers in that range. They certainly have their issues, but are some of the flattest and most usable monitors for the price.
