I had Offering and Nemesis both on cassette, never found either on CD, at least not original recordings. I remember reading a while back that in order for the band to release Offering, which was their most successful album, they had to re-record the whole thing. The recuts weren't as good as the originals. I could be wrong on that story though, so if someone has more info, by all means please share.

I liked everything on Offering. That was a good album (in my opinion) from start to finish. Thinking back to it, my favorites were Rock 'n' Roll Party in the Street, Steal Another Fantasy, and Jennifer.

My son has known RnRPitS since he was about 5 yrs old. Just listened to it this past weekend on our way up to visit my parents for the holidays. He was in the backseat and said "dad, turn it up!!!" That's muh boy.

:headbang:

Axe is awesome! I have all four of them on vinyl, Offering and nemesis on CD, and had them on cassette as well. I may put them on this morning now. Bobby Barth was a great songwriter but I haven't heard any of his solo stuff.

Don't forget about Living On The Edge and the self-titled. Neither as good as their more famous ones but still respectable.

Sadly not available on CD. I have been looking sometime for those and then quit.

Axe is KILLER!

I had the s/t,nemesis,and offering on vinyl.

traded away s/t-but still crank offering and nemesis on vinyl!!

some vinyl still sounds so F*#KIN' GREAT!! sonically!!!!

also, B. Barth in Blackfoot;would like to hear that!
