Late reply, but it was just the original Stein. Wasn't used on the album, though. Egan mentioned that the latest was the same 5150II/XXX combo as before, but with the Mesa Oversized 4x12 and an SM57 and i5.

Egan, I remember noticing with some skepticism the Ultra cab in the "Lies that Bind" vid - surely that wasn't the cab used on DD?

Yeah, DSS3 is right. We used that cab on everything up until the new record. It doesn't sound nearly as nice as the mesa but I still like it way better than a 1960a w/ peavey heads.
