Anyone from Germany here?

Wow, a volunteer :)
Actually, it's Diorama's song, I'll appreciate if translate eve a bit.
Here it is.

Das meer

Sehnsuchtsschwer am Boden
händeringend vor dem Sturm
Gedanken stumm vor Blindheit
Ziehen die Wolken vorbei

Das Läuten in der Ferne
Wie ein leiser Gruß der Sterne
Birgt Erinnerung an Ewigkeit
An Himmelstod

Lächeln sanfte Rückkehr
Tränenlos versinkend
Schau zurück friedvoll
wenn die Dämmerung erwacht

Vieles bleibt vergessen

Laß Dich fallen in bodenlose Tiefen

Hi there...

well, ehm, I thought you wanted to have an English text translated into German. I fear I am a bit overtaxed with this... sorry.
I would never get a good structure into the English version of the poem.

So long

Ok, but can you just explain me the idea of the song? I don't know any German besides 'zuruck' :)

Ok, I'm at the university and since there's nothing to do here (except waiting for Brasil to do the second goal! :) ) I'll try my best *g*

Das Läuten in der Ferne
Wie ein leiser Gruß der Sterne
Birgt Erinnerung an Ewigkeit
An Himmelstod

The ringing far away
Like a silent greet from the stars
With a memory on the eternity
and the death of the sky

Lächeln sanfte Rückkehr
Tränenlos versinkend
Schau zurück friedvoll
wenn die Dämmerung erwacht

The smile of the soft return (he???)
Drowning without tears
Look back peacefully
When the dawn awakes

Vieles bleibt vergessen
verschwommen und zerschellt
an den leichten Momenten
dem Wellenschlage gleich
überm Meer

Many things stay forgotten
??? and broken (?)
on the light moments
like a waves stroke
over the sea

Das Meer verlassen über dem Ursprung des Seins
Tauch in das Meer laß Dich treiben
Es ist Jahre her

The sea left alone over the origin of beeing
Dive into the sea let yourself flow
it's years ago

Laß Dich fallen in bodenlose Tiefen
Ruhe und Wehmut umgeben Dich leise
Sieh Dich fliegen doch Deine Flügel
Sind müd und schwer überm Meer

Let yourself fall into soilless (??) deepth
Peace and nostalgy surround you silently
See yourself fly but your wings
they are tired and heavy over the sea

Sehnsuchtsschwer am Boden
Händeringend vor dem Sturm
Dein Schweigen wird mir fehlen
Und in Endlichkeit erwacht

On the floor heavy from the longing (*rofl*??)
??? before the storm
I will miss your silence
and in eternity awake

*gg* Sounds realy strange in English *gg* Who wrote it?

But this was NEVER a penalty!!!!

And it seems that Rivaldo could do acting as well as he can play football.

But however lets celebrate Papa Bouba Diop, :)!!!

are you clairvoyant or? :) anyway, they stole that last goal, the turkish guy kicked that brazilian actor outside the zone - no penalty. and it was very lame at the very end when the guy faked the face injury, and the turkish guy had to quit :|

i was very pleased anyway when france's been beaten by senegal - people here were thinking they already won the cup hehe

peace,

Yeah, there was no penalty goddamit! Well, the referee was really fucking bad that match. In the end, have you seen what Rivaldo did?! Fair fucking play! :(
Ronaldo returns! :) His goal was great.

Spain will win, what do you think? They're the best ever.

Well:
1. I'm not a "he"!!!!! Don't you know anything about greek mythology? Shame on you :loco: :D
2. I don't understand Russian but I do speak Croatian so there is a chance for me to understand something :D hehe

agree with you Eos!! that wasn't a penalty, too.

I'm really looking forward to the second game of germany againt Ireland, well sure I'm on the side of my country, but I think it will be interesting to see if they can confirm there good first game against a better opponent.

By the way, are there any Liverpool fans in here? i hope so, maybe anyone of the band.

Si ja

err... shame on me  I didn't study Greek myhtology. I'm too deeply lost in English and literature. Especially in literature. But I wish I knew mythology better :))) to completely understand Fowles, for example. Someday... :D

Well it just started!! Enjoy it ;)
I hope Ireland will win!!! :)

puhh, just draw:-(. I'm a bit angry about my team for the second half was not very good. Only Kahn did a very good job and somehow I thought he would save us the 3 points. Well, i thought it til the last minute. Ireland deserved it somehow, they played well, but not in the last minute, i'm a bit depressed.

Well that's football.

Lets see if france can come back to the tournament tomorrow.

Cheers Morpheus
