Anyone got aptrigga wrapped in PT 8?

Aptrigga is being a bit finnicky with MIDI in PT8. If I put it on an instrument track to trigger from MIDI, no signal passes to it and I get no output. I take it off, throw on a different VI and the midi goes through fine. Take that off and put aptrigga back on and now it works. Seems to go this way every time without fail, makes me nervous as I'd like it to work the first time. I'm running PT 8.0.1 on Snow Leopard. Anyone else able to try this and confirm if it's just me?

How do you mean, put midi on midi track, bus to an aux and put apTrigga on aux that way?

OK works either way
method 1 - create mono instrument track, insert ApTrigga on insert A, Check that the MIDI output of the instrument track is routed to VSTW apTrigga2 Channel 1

MIDI on the track will trigger ApTrigga and play out the same track.

Method 2 - Create a MIDI track + mono aux track, insert ApTrigga on insert A (on Aux), set MIDI track output to VSTW apTrigga2 Channel 1
MIDI on the track will trigger ApTrigga and play out the aux.


As for it not working first try, I dunno.

Where can I check the MIDI output?

Edit: NM, this is what the problem was. It isn't assigning a MIDI output by default at first, at least I understand what's happening! Cheers.
