I dont love MM or hate him.
His music is ok but I dont own any of it and never probably will. But I certainly wont burst out with some homophobic comment using 20 cuss words to let everyone know how narrow minded I am.
Ive heard some interview from MM and hes got a pretty smart head between his shoulders. And based on his dressing style and overall image, hes got some interesting tastes. But that never bugs me. Hes a rock star just like Kiss, Alice Cooper and Ozzy.
But I do give him props for the girls he gets. Im sure they are all atracted to the overall rockstar life he lives, the unique styles and then offcourse the moolah.
I dont hate, he at least is better than Linkin Park, Creed, Puddle of Mudd and some other lame rock metal outfits.

If you read any of the shit I wrote (and apparently you don't read anything at all) I defended Manson on one of the previous pages. I dislike his music personally, but another poster decided to take a cheap shot at his image, which has zero to do with his intelligence, as the poster claimed. I had to correct that bullshit, and later again when another poster tried to draw a correlation between the character of people who dislike the guy, people who like him, and his intelligence/talent. These are stupid, baseless conclusions and are unacceptable forms of criticism.
However, YOU are attacking anyone who says anything negative about him, regardless of whatever that might be. The comments you quote in your "stay on topic zomg!" posts are clearly negative and clearly unconstructive. However they are valid opinions and not guilty of the same kind of baseless conclusion-drawing I outlined above. Therefore the one who is pulling this thread offtopic into an argument is YOU, sadguru.

You got it wrong Kenneth. My "attacks" were given in response to the gratuitous, off-topic and predictable nature of the comments, not because they were negative toward Manson. Again, the topic is about MM's new album "Eat Me, Drink Me". You can comment on Manson and still be off-topic. The same way, talking about Mikeal's moustache in a Ghost Reveries related thread is off-topic.
I'm well aware I'm turning this thread completely off-topic, but the very purpose of this discussion is to get back on the main topic, which is Marilyn Manson's new album.

Thirdly, The point I made in my previous post, as I shall now spell out in small chunks for your feeble illiterate mind, is that: (and please don't be one of those fucking troll shmucks and reply with a seperate individual quote and retort to each sentence of the following)
1.) I am fair to Manson though I dislike his music, or on a grander scale: my negative comments are not unwarranted attempts at passing off opinion for fact.
2.) That I find the doing of such pedestrian and idiotic.
3.) That although it's going to hurt your ego, you have to accept that the other imbeciles in this sandbox are NOT doing such for the most part with the exceptions of those I already chastized.
4.) That the one with the stick up his ass and driving the entire discussion off topic is YOU, the very hypocrite who, in your attempt to force the discussion to a particular aspect, have derailed your own thread. I congratulate you again.
5.) You have to realize that in discussing the merits of a particular album, some people's opinion of the artist is that all the albums are bad, or are good. You yourself are guilty of such off-topic posts, Mr. Hypocrite. Saying "Manson Sucks" or "That album rocks" or "I love album Y or X" are equally off-topic if you want to be so particular, but most non-dipshits understand the need for supplementary discussion. Point 1 to 3 aren't valid points in the context of that discussion.
As for point 4, it's true to a certain extend. I assume it. But like I already pointed out earlier, I later-on went off-topic in an attempt to bring the focus back on the main topic.
As for point 5, I went off-topic at some point in the discussion and later realized that the off-topic comments went overboard. That's why I felt the need to refocus on the topic.
Oh, about the ego, you probably are the last person I would take lessons from .
