Hi guys,
I'm not really good in writing english lyrics because I'm not a native speaker. I have one song which has got lyrics allready but they are not sounding very good to my ears. I'm looking for someone who is able to help me out.
I like to post the link to the song so you can probably hear and feel which theme is most suitable for this tune.

The lyrics are like that, please don't laugh, I know theyuke:
Here in the midst of battle, there´s only death
I have no hope of coming home,
I cling to my memories instead.
I think of how it all began
We all knew that it would be grim and some were surely scared
morale was high though and we thought that we were well prepared
Refrain:
In the mists of an autumn day
We made our names forever known/
we wrote our names in bloody runes.
Steel met steel, crushed our lifes like giant hammers
When shrapnel rained like hell on us
It kills half of our brave men
Enemy tanks came rolling in
We fought for our land to make our familes proud
