A few months ago, I discovered a french band called "S.U.P." - For Spherical Unit Provided.
I bought the "Chronophobia" album, & then "The cube".
Their new release, "Angelus", is absolutely perfect...
Featuring Danny as guest, reading between the tracks!

they used to play death metal at the beginning and they were called Supuration, that's where the name SUP comes from originally, now it means spherical blablabla , indeed ...
euh oui c vrai on pourrait parler en français à la limite !
Saw them live three times , once with MDB and twice with Anathema ;p

I know that S.U.P comes from Supuration, but when they chnaged the name into SUP, they've founf a meaning to these letters!
Tu dois simply utiliser ton brain pour guess tout ça!

We were talking like one of our biggest Belgian pride (as well as Wesley Sonck, Princess Elisabeth or clouseau...), Jean-Claude Van Damme... He uses to mix french & english words and it's pretty funny!!!
S.U.P is a mix between doom, death, electro & atmospheric metal with growling & clean voices...
I think their website is www.sup.free.fr but I'm not sure, I must check...

Aye SUP is from Lille, they are pretty famous around.

This just reminded me a friend gave me a live cd from them a few weeks ago , but i still havent check it yet...

You'll like it! But "to live alone" is in fact a false live CD... It's just a set-list recorded live, without an audience...
