I love em. The whole p1sstake on the whole glam thing is just great.
And I reckon their music is great too... and they can play as well! The Hawkins brothers certainly know a melody or two on the 6 string.

They are a throwback to old 70s and early 80s English rock for me and I love that era. I don't know its an American thing (not being racist here either) that they don't 'get it' but there is an element of British humour in that band that I just love.

I actually do enjoy their stuff. The voice takes a little getting used to, but the music is fun and the beats are great. And, like Aliasp, I love the bits of British humour sprinkled in there. I've always enjoyed that type of humour.

I'm definitely looking forward to picking up their new one.

well i am british and i positively hate the darkness ...those guys just plain fuck me off....... if they were american we'd have never heard of them, cos they are far too averagely shit to make it anywhere but here.......where they are proclaimed musical geniuses......says a lot about the state of music in the uk i feel........

maybe i just dont get "the joke"...oh wait... its that hundreds of bands go unnoticed and die every year playing real and excellent rock/metal.......a bunch of twats come along singing in a stoopid voice and they sell 3.5 million records...thats a joke.... people are idiots..

They are better than most bullshit that is out there today. Its good to see rock n roll bands wthat write their own music. I like them better than most of that 'hardcore' bullshit metal like everytime I die and all that recycled bs. That being said I still don't like them that much

I think, if you look at them as a parody, they can be tolerated. But I don't really get into it that much. I'd say I like them like I like Andrew W. K. You know, it's funny the first time.........then...........well I don't need to keep hearing it after that.

Honestly man, I don't care what you think about ANY band. There might actually be a couple of people here that want to hear the album. That's all this thread is about. Nothing more. You always seem to want to fuckin' turn every thread into some kind of a bitch fest... like the little fuckin' faggot that you are. You obviously lack confidence if all you can do is vent your little frustrations in some forum, where nobody can reach over and wring your neck.
