just to keep people informed with what you're doing, as well as stay informed with what others are doing. it's pretty neat. I have a few comedians on mine, Opie from Opie & Anthony, a few real life friends... you can upload pictures and stuff, use your phone's GPS go tell them your exact location at any given time.

Twitter's useful for some people. I have no reason to use it because I just update facebook. But a buddy of mine uses it a lot with some of his friends, not all of who use facebook.
That said, I have one. I've just never used it.
