i am a fan of their works, especially before 1990..The Dark and the debut are my favourites..what r your choices?

I just can't believe my ears, some music out these days
The human factor has diminished, in oh so many ways
Fancy footwork gets top bill and I'll put on such a show
One more Midi cable and my band is ready to go
One more moneymaker and I'm set for life
Stealing from others will make my future bright
One, make some money; two, overexpose
Sincerity is felt much more when the human factor shows

But if I don't have talent then I'll just get by this way

Musicians all make mistakes who needs them anyway?

Human Factor is good..
but its nothing if compared with the debut or The Dark..David Wayne was great in these records..
also 1989's Blessing In Disguise is great..the song ''Badlands'' is a highlight..

The self titled first release "METAL CHURCH" is one of the best heavy metal albums ever. I also liked "The Dark" alot too, but it had some lame tunes like "watch the children pray" Nothing after that ever grabbed me the same way. Again, the 1st album is just awesome!
I heard that live cd they released from The Dark tour and it was killer.
I saw them on that tour open for Metallica (11/86) and again a few months later open for Anthrax (6/87) They were great.

yes, the live album is also great, with songs from the first two albums
some good songs.. Badlands, Beyond The Black, Merciless Onslaught, Over My Dead Body, Method To Your Madness...and many others

I do not have much good memories of their music... My friend once ruined good drunk night by playing Metal Church the whole fuckin' night...
