Anyone into Volbeat??

My friends recently got me into this Danish band. Sort of a hard rock/metal outfit with Elvis/Life of Agony type vocals. Really catchy stuff. I had never heard of them in my life, but man, they play some BIG shows on their dvd. Might not be for everyone, but I love em.

When they ROCK, they bring it... when they do that psychobilly shit... ugh.

I loved the first record and liked the second one... But they're already pretty worn out on me. The first one was so innovative and now it seems like they're overdoing the formula and losing the edge. They could do so much more to keep things interesting without losing their approach... but that seems like wishful thinking.

I see what you are saying. I actually was introduced to them on the new album...I dig that one a lot! I can see the style becoming old though.
