The time zone change or the shock to her system from Finnish air to Inland Empire air? At least it's winter. Imagine going from Finnish climate to the IE in the summertime.

Inland Empire air is really something foul and often worse than L.A. air. Downright scary, if you ask me.

I'M BAAAACCKKKK!!! Sorry I've been absent from the board, but I finally got my computer all put together and plugged in n set up n all that. Yes, the climate change was stark -- it was like 85 degrees F when I got in last week -- i had multilayers of clothing on and was starting to break a sweat after deplaning. It was something like 30 degrees F in Finnyland when I left. I really missed the sun!

The water was a huge shock too... Finnywater (aka vesi) is sooooooooooo good; their tap water tastes better than anything you can find in a bottle here. I got home, pulled out a glass and drew some water from the tap -- it was white and fizzy and tasted like chemicals. I used to like the tap water out here...

Anyway, i'll see some of you at the eddie's girlfriends jam-o-rama tonight!!

BTW, be glad on the water. In Germany it's awful. On my last visit, my family practically screamed when I poured a glass from the tap. I was so dehydrated I went through about 5 glasses on the plane before it left the ground.
