Anyone like Suicidal Tendencies?

Yeah first album is awesome. Had a shirt with a handdrawn skull on the back in 86, could'nt skate for shit though.
Repo Man (1984 Emilio Esteves and Harry Dean Stanton) soundtrack is one of my favourites. Suicidal, Fear, early Black Flag and Iggy Pop.

S T Tour cancelled :OMG:

What happened to Muir ?

(and MONSTER HOUSE )

Yeah he hosted it for a week I think. i missed but a freind is going to tivo it for me if it is run again

I've probably seen ST live more then any other band and not once were they headlining. It seemed like they used to open for everybody back in the day. Great band.

ST ... TRIP AT THE BRAIN...

FUCKING AWESOME BAND. I love most of their older stuff though up to Revolution...

You Can't Bring me Down is just the best damn song to go apesh1t over!

Damn, ST are one of my faves. My first live show EVER was Anthrax with Suicidal when I was 12 back in 89. Been CYCO since then!!

Got to meet Mike Clark acouple years ago in London and basically just thanked him for teaching me to play guitar. He was really cool!

Everything up to the last record is CLASSIC thrash/metal/whatever!

They got a new Bass player?

Well yeah where is trullijo now ( from ozzy to tallica) maybe they could just switch out for Jason ( who is supposed to be playing for ozzy) now remember why Jason left ( he wanted to play funk type stuff) and they replace him with Trullijo who is known for his work with Tendencies as well "Infectious Grooves" which was more funk but way cool

do you see anything ironic there??? :zombie: :muahaha:

The George/Clark/Trujillo/Muir line-up broke up around 95..Clark stayed when ST reformed in 97..got Dean from Infectious..and some guy named Josh Paul on bass...I saw them live that year and Josh did excellent playing Rob's parts..he since left the band. My faves are up to Lights Camera Revelution..Art Of Rebellion wasn't too bad and Suicidal For Life had it's moments..Still Cyco was pretty good..beefed up versions of the first record

Steve Brunner is the bass player according to their (really quite bad) website.
I loved ST from Join The Army through to Art of Rebellion which I thought felt a little try-hard. Kinda lost touch with them since then.

Met Mike Muir in 1988 when they played the Glasgow School of Art. He was very friendly, but pretty quiet.

I liked the first album and my wife has two of the others - good stuff. Saw No Mercy, a Mike Muir project play with Anthrax in 1986. And he came on and sang about 5 songs while Joey took a break.

Never went to shows where sui bands played with skinhead bands - just a big brawl\gang fight.

Saw them a couple of times in late 80's/ early 90's. Once as headliners with (i think due to shit memory) M.O.D and as openers for Slayer, Megadeth and Testament in London. I almost shit myself both times as they were so cool. Great early stuff up to Lights...

I only saw them once at the School of Art in Glasgow. (Unless they were on the Clash Of The Titans tour...the UK one was different from the US one I remember. I think it was Slayer, Megadeth, Suicidal and Testament. Can that be right?!)

I only saw them once that I can remember!

You are right! It seems along time ago and the memory has almost gone

What a great line-up. No wonder it was rammed. Do you remember the runing order?

I'm guessing Suicidal/Testament/Megadeth/ Slayer?

Thats correct. I was fucking fucked when it was over. When Slayer played, they wanted to recorded a video for War Ensamble?? but they wanted to mime to a backing track. Loud boos everywhere.

That explains why I remember watching Slayer from about halfway back! I must've been fucked by then!!

I'd have preferred the line up with Anthrax though. When I was listing the bands there I thought for a moment that they did play it.
